POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Premium and Ticket Sales leads the Dallas Mavericks' ticketing operations — including premium suite sales, ticket sales, and administration — while driving revenue growth and ensuring a seamless experience for fans and patrons. Success in this role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of ticketing systems, and a commitment to elevating the fan experience.
JOB FUNCTION: - Oversee the daily operations of the ticket administration department, including ticket sales, pricing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement ticketing strategies to maximize revenue, occupancy, and fan experience.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive ticket sales, promotions, and campaigns.
- Develop pricing strategies and models to optimize ticket sales and revenue.
- Monitor ticket pricing, inventory management, and dynamic pricing strategies to adapt to market demand.
- Analyze data and metrics to make data-driven decisions on pricing and inventory allocation.
- Ensure a high level of customer service for ticket buyers, addressing inquiries, complaints, and providing assistance as needed.
- Oversee the management of customer databases and ticketing systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships to drive customer loyalty and retention.
- Generate reports and analytics related to ticket sales, attendance, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements in ticketing operations.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns.
- Manage the distribution and fulfillment of tickets, including digital and physical formats.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of tickets to customers, including season ticket holders and individual game buyers.
- Collaborate with ticketing partners, vendors, and technology providers.
- Stay informed about and ensure compliance with ticketing regulations, laws, and industry standards.
- Address any legal and regulatory issues related to ticketing operations
- Lead and manage the premium and ticket sales (season ticket sales, group sales and inside sales) departments, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in business, sports management, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Substantial experience in ticket sales or sports business, including senior leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of ticketing systems, pricing strategies, and customer service best practices.
