IMEG is hiring a Virtual Design Technician Coordinator in San Francisco, CA to produce models and documentation using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. You will work closely with Technicians, Coordinators, Designers, and Engineers on projects.

This role works within the project’s monetary budget and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The team supports commercial and institutional markets.

What You'll Do

• Model, edit, rework, and update models and drawings from project designer markups.

• Collaborate with team members to develop models and drawings.

• Assist engineers and designers with field measurements of existing building systems.

• Prepare models and drawings from field data.

• Export documents and transfer files to clients.

• Follow established modeling and drawing-production standards and coordinate models and workflow across the design team.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of colleagues and clients

• Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook

• High level of professionalism

Preferred

• Associate degree or certificate in Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred

• Revit skills desired

• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans and models desired

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering as-built drawings desired

• Basic experience in the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software preferred

State of California Pay Range: $34.15 - $41.85 per hour

The range listed above represents the base pay IMEG reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position in the work location identified above at the time of posting. For positions available in multiple locations, the minimums and maximums may vary based on work location.

Individual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, abilities, and licensure and certifications.
