Join Our Virtual Learning Team

The School District of Reedsburg is seeking an organized, encouraging, and technology-comfortable Virtual Learning Support Paraprofessional to help students succeed in our growing Virtual Learning Program. Launched in summer 2026, the program now serves approximately 80 students attending online classes. This position will work closely with our Virtual Learning Coordinator to help students stay connected, engaged, and on track academically.

What You Will Do

• Monitor online course progress, engagement, pacing, and missing assignments; flag concerns for the Virtual Learning Coordinator.
• Check in regularly with students and help them develop schedules, organization, time-management skills, and consistent learning routines.
• Communicate progress updates and reminders to students and families, and document follow-up.
• Coordinate with the Coordinator and appropriate school staff to connect students with academic and other supports.
• Assist students with onboarding, basic platform navigation, and access to resources; refer technical concerns to district technology staff.
• Provide in-person student support as assigned and maintain accurate, confidential student records.

This is a paraprofessional support role working under staff direction. Licensed teachers provide instruction and assign grades, and the Virtual Learning Coordinator leads the program.
