Visual Merchandiser

We are seeking a talented Visual Merchandiser to join our Ace Hardware Titusville team. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays to attract customers and drive sales. If you have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Duties:

• Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the overall look and feel of the store.
• Create eye-catching displays that showcase products in an engaging manner.
• Collaborate with the management team to align visual merchandising with promotional activities.
• Set store with monthly promotional signing.
• Utilize market trends and retail math concepts to optimize product placement and maximize sales.
• Use planograms to effectively execute company re-sets.
• Identify poor sellers and manage outgoing product to create room for new re-set items.
• Work closely with Inventory Specialist to manage merchandise exit strategy.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and replenishing displays as needed
• Ensure that all visual elements adhere to brand standards and give effective exposure to the products.
• Collaborate with team and effectively plan resources for merchandise moves and other projects.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel and climb a ladder.
• Experience following direction from planograms, adapting to a stores unique lay out.
• Ability to make profitable decisions as it relates to re-set execution
• Strong ability to multi-task and see projects through to completion.
• Strong understanding of retail math principles and inventory control
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Effective workload planning.
