Job Description/ Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled VMWare, Windows Infrastructure level Solution Architect to join our team and take charge of managing and maintaining our organization's OnPrem & cloud architecture.

This is a position in CIO IT Solution design group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing solutions with cloud infrastructure including servers, storage, and network infrastructure.

Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our online capabilities align with the specific requirements of our organization.

The role demands collaborating with application architects, Infrastructure architects, database architects and cloud engineering teams to design and architect robust stable cloud solutions.

The IT Infrastructure Architect should have experience with cloud technologies and building enterprise architecture. They must strong hold on designing, integrating and managing complex cloud infrastructure solutions.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
" Lead and define application analysis for infrastructure design, capacity planning for green field onboarding/migration requirements.
" Closely partner with engineering and operations function partners to assess feasibility, complexity and scope of new capabilities and solutions
" Collaborates with the architecture and infrastructure delivery teams to ensure consistent solution design and integration.
" Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction for business team for their application roadmap.
" Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives, service levels, IT strategies and design intent.
" Provide project leadership and ownership over all aspects of service delivery.
" Documents and publishes appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks.
" Communicates system architecture to technical and business audiences.
" Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure direction for business team for their application roadmap.
General Knowledge Skills:
" Knowledge of financial services industry.
" May require knowledge of networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and practices.
" Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model driven design based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, use cases, etc.
" Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
" Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
