The VNA Driver is responsible to transfer and store pallets to and from VNA racking as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor and Checkers.
Responsibilities:
Operate the VNA Trucks and Counterbalance Forklift Trucks in a safe manner, following the traffic management plan.
Place pallets in their designated area.
Ensure that FEFO stock rotation is observed when retrieving pallets from VNA racking.
Ensure that all products are scanned while moving the same pallet from one zone to another. By scanning the VNA driver confirms the receipt/issue of goods as defined through the scanning process.
Fill in the daily equipment checklist before usage.
Report any damages/fault to the equipment.
Ensure that the equipment is always kept in a clean condition.
Assist as necessary in warehousing related tasks including loading and unloading of trucks.
Qualification:
Secondary School Education
Driving Licence Category B
Forklift Operation Course
Experience in a similar role would be considered an asset
Skills:
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Computer literate
Comfortable working at heights
Ability to read and write in English
