Job Duties and Responsibilities
Directs daily program operations to ensure high-quality delivery of vocational rehabilitation and employment services.
Manages the complete staff lifecycle by hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating team members to drive peak performance.
Oversees client case management to guarantee individualized support and effective service plans.
Drives job development initiatives by forging strong relationships with local employers and community partners.
Maintains strict compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations to protect client rights and program standards.
Monitors and controls the departmental budget to maximize resource allocation and financial health.
Leads community outreach efforts to raise awareness, build referral networks, and expand employment opportunities for clients.
Required Qualifications
Education
Holds a bachelor's degree in social work, rehabilitation counseling, business administration, or a related field.
Experience
Brings at least three years of experience in vocational rehabilitation or employment services.
Demonstrates a proven track record of successfully managing staff, budgets, and program compliance.
Knowledge/Skills
Possesses expert knowledge of vocational rehabilitation principles and job development strategies.
Applies strong leadership skills to supervise, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Communicates effectively to build partnerships with community employers and stakeholders.
Navigates complex case management systems with accuracy and empathy.
Preferred Qualifications
Possesses a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credential.
2-5 years supervisory experience
Bachelor's degree in related field with a vocational or rehab certification required
At least 5 years working in special education field preferred
Five (5) years of experience providing services to children/adolescents who have mental health diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities
Demonstrated supervisory and administrative skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to attend to numerous details and understand multiple regulatory standards
Must meet Massachusetts background check requirements.
Reliable transportation to The Guild School in Concord, MA as well as to multiple Guild residences in Massachusetts
A valid driver's license and responsible driving record for transporting students, as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and other electronic tools.
