What is needed for this job as a Volunteer:
- Must have completed 6th grade
- Positive attitude and willingness to help
- Dependable with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- No prior experience required (training provided, if applicable)
- Ability to pass required clearances
- Clearances and training are required for volunteers who assist with any YMCA programs and operations. If you are only interested in River Crossing YMCA one-day special events, such as our Bucks County 5K, or Kids Triathlon, clearances and trainings are not required, please email mschmitt@ymcarivercrossing.org upon completion of application for one-day special events
The responsibilities we will trust you with as a Volunteer:
- Supporting events and community programs
- Assisting staff with day-to-day operations
- Providing direct support to members
- Helping with outreach, fundraising, or administrative tasks
