Warehouse Assembler
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Weekly hours: 40 hours
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Warehouse Assemblers to join our client on a contract basis
There are morning and afternoon shifts available, Monday to Friday.
Hours:
Morning shift: 06:00 - 14:30
Afternoon shift: 14:30 - 23:00
Overtime: Any hours worked over 40 per week are paid at time and a half.
The Role:
- Picking and moving stock and materials around the warehouse
- Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
- Preparing materials for different areas of the business
- Carrying out stock checks and reporting any discrepancies
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and kept organised
- Using warehouse scanners and equipment as required
- Updating stock information using computer systems
- Handling materials safely and following company procedures
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Following all company health and safety procedures
We're Looking For:
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer and scanner skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 23kg when required
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, reach and work at different heights
- Comfortable working around warehouse equipment
- Willingness to follow all health and safety procedures
- Safety footwear and PPE must be worn as required
