Warehouse Assistant

Position Overview:
In the Warehouse Assistant and Parts Runner role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary parts and supplies are available for our installers to complete their work efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment, knowledge of HVAC parts, possess strong organizational skills, and be able to work well under pressure.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Stage parts and equipment for loading onto vehicles to support daily operations
• Deliver parts, supplies, and equipment to job sites as needed for project completion
• Monitor and replenish warehouse inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and vehicle, including trash and cardboard removal
• Communicate effectively with technicians and dispatch regarding parts orders and delivery schedules
• Accurately read invoices and coordinate with vendors when picking up parts
• Participate in required meetings and assist with phone inquiries as needed
• Work a flexible schedule and travel locally as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and performing repetitive movements throughout the workday. Employees must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, pull, load, unload, and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment, parts, tools, and materials. The role requires safely loading and unloading service and delivery vehicles, accessing shelving and warehouse storage areas, operating carts, dollies, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment, and frequently entering and exiting company vehicles while making parts deliveries. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions, warehouse noise, dust, dirt, and other conditions commonly encountered in a home-services warehouse and parts-delivery environment.
