Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Assistant Manager to support daily warehouse operations and lead a small team of 2-3 employees (up to 5 as needed). This role is responsible for receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
• Lead, train, and support warehouse team members.
• Coordinate receiving, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain warehouse organization, safety, and productivity standards.
• Assist with employee onboarding and performance coaching.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience required.
• Prior experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience leading and supporting a small team of warehouse associates.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Comfortable performing hands-on warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and inventory management.
• Experience using warehouse management systems, ERP systems, or RF scanners is a plus.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
