Warehouse Associate I 
Location: Ontario, CA 91761

ork Schedule: Monday - Friday

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, $20/hr

  • 2nd Shift: 4:30 PM - 1:00 AM, $21.50/hr

  • Candidates must be flexible to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals or demands.


Overview

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for safely and efficiently executing daily logistics, inventory tracking, and material handling workflows to keep the department running in the most economical manner. Operating across diverse warehouse zones, this role handles the end-to-end movement of components, performs system audits, and maintains site organization. This position requires experienced equipment operators who can seamlessly balance physical material handling with digital warehouse management systems.

Job Specifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate a Cherry Picker, Turret truck, manual or powered Hand Jacks, and other material handling machinery to transport, store, retrieve, and stack parts and supplies.

  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately and efficiently pick, sort, identify, and put away material against incoming warehouse orders.

  • Inventory Control: Log, locate, and audit warehouse stock using computer systems and digital RF scanners to maintain tight inventory integrity.

  • Facility Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness and overall structural integrity of the facility through strict adherence to the 5S methodology.

  • Safety & Collaboration: Fully comply with all corporate policies, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines; actively participate in regular team and safety meetings.

  • Operational Flexibility: Adapt to shifting operational demands and perform other duties as assigned by leadership to optimize department workflows.


Must Have Skills / Requirements

  • Equipment Certification: Proven, hands-on experience operating a Cherry Picker forklift is required.

  • Technical Software Skills: Working knowledge of SAP platforms along with the functional ability to operate computers and scanning hardware.

  • Multi-Tasking & Communication: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks at once and communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.

  • Instruction Following: Ability to read, comprehend, and systematically carry out simple instructions delivered via oral or written communications.

  • Detail Focus: Strong results-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to operational details.


Physical Demands & Environment

  • Ability to stand up and remain on your feet for extended periods (8+ hours per shift).

  • Physical agility to handle constant bending, pushing, and lifting of materials weighing greater than 30 lbs.

  • Ability to work comfortably and productively in both cold and hot warehouse environments.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct inventory tracking experience utilizing specialized systems such as Blue Yonder or Red Prairie is highly preferred.


Education & Experience

  • Experience: 1–2 years of stable, hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Education: HS or GED is required
