Warehouse Associate - 3rd Shift

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Night shift (3rd shift)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team on the night shift in Joliet, Illinois. This position focuses on the receipt, shipment, recording, and disbursement of goods within the warehouse, supporting logistics, supply chain, and material management functions to ensure efficient processing and distribution of parts, materials, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in receiving, processing, storing, moving, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Verify quantities, parts, destinations, and timing using source documents.
• Operate forklift equipment, including stand-up and sit-down models, safely and efficiently.
• Use machinery for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging items.
• Perform warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
• Conduct inventory management and documentation processes.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Perform general warehousing duties, including housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
• Transport items using ladders, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Support management with logistics and warehouse-related tasks.
• Work in environments with frequently changing temperatures, demonstrating physical endurance and flexibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to operate ladders, hand trucks, and dollies.
• Certification or experience operating forklifts, including stand-up and sit-down models.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in material handling or distribution environments.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
• Lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling items of varying weights.
• Ability to work at heights up to 20 feet.
• Exposure to environments with frequently changing temperatures.
