Warehouse Associate

Position Overview
Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving operations for an electrical distribution company. The ideal candidate will have experience with order selection, RF scanners, inventory stocking, and both stand-up and sit-down forklifts. 


Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime available as needed
Employment Type: Temporary-to-Hire for the right candidate
Interview Required: Yes
Required PPE: Steel-toe boots

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Pick and pull customer orders using an RF scanner.
  
• 
  Transport completed orders to the shipping department for verification.
  
• 
  Receive, check, and stock incoming materials.
  
• 
  Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations.
  
• 
  Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move and organize materials safely.
  
• 
  Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
  
• 
  Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  
• 
  Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed to ensure daily work is completed.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Previous experience in a warehouse, stocking, order selection, shipping, or receiving role.
  
• 
  RF scanner experience is required.
  
• 
  Forklift experience is required, preferably with both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
  
• 
  Electrical distribution industry experience is preferred but not required.
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  
• 
  Ability to work overtime as needed to complete daily assignments.
  
• 
  Must have and wear steel-toe boots.

  Dress Code: Appropriate T-shirts, shorts, or pants are permitted. Clothing must not be offensive or excessively loose due to safety requirements.
