You will receive incoming stock, pick and pack customer and wholesale orders, and keep inventory records clean.This is a hands-on, on-your-feet role reporting to the Warehouse Manager. It suits someone who takes pride in getting the details right and likes a steady, physical day.This role is Full Time based at our Lincoln Park, New Jersey Warehouse What you'll be doingReceive inbound shipments: unload, count and check goods against purchase orders and packing lists, and flag shortages, overages or damage.Put away stock in the correct locations and keep bin labels and location data accurate.Pick orders accurately from pick lists or handheld scanners, meeting daily cut-off times.Pack orders to company standards, protecting product and presentation, and apply the correct shipping labels and paperwork.Prepare outbound shipments for carriers, including palletizing, wrapping and loading.Process returns: inspect items, grade condition, and restock or quarantine as directed.Carry out cycle counts and support periodic full inventory counts.Record transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) as work is completed.Keep work areas clean, organized and free of hazards, and follow all health and safety procedures.Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order picker (with training).Support other areas of the warehouse during peak periods and help with ad hoc projects.Who you are1+ year of experience in a warehouse, distribution center or fulfillment role.Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.Experience handling apparel, accessories or other high-value retail product.Familiarity with carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and freight paperwork.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math and computer skills, including using handheld scanners.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Ability to work as part of a team and independently.Physical demandsStand, walk, bend and reach for most of an 8 - hour shift.Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, with help for heavier items.Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified candidates who need them.Why you'll love working with usWorking at Paul Smith means being part of a brand that celebrates creativity, individuality and authenticity.
