What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play an integral role in the daily operations of the warehouse, raw material/component procurement, and supply chain logistics. Additionally, this position is involved in the day-to-day functioning of the warehouse and will multi task from one function to the next to address current and anticipated business need in the areas of Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Control and Production Kitting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participates in daily warehouse operations associated to raw material, components and finished goods.
• Coordinate activities with the Warehouse Supervisor and Warehouse Lead and supports the processing of shipments to and from PBS. Aids and supports the execution of shipping and receiving activities to and from the PBS warehouse to ensure key metrics are met.
• Participates in the kitting of production work orders supporting the manufacturing function of PBS.
• Responsible for data entry and maintenance of supply chain information in the GSS ERP system, as well as GS Mobile.
• Maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Responsible for executing periodic inventory audits/cycle counts in coordination with Supply Chain or Finance.
• Maintain records and file paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
• Additional tasks as needed

Knowledge/Experience

• Associates degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-3 years of supply chain, warehouse management, logistics, or directly related experience, preferably in a medical device or life sciences setting.
• Technical expertise working with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP, bar-code based transactions and RF Gun experience. Experience with GSS a plus.

Skills/Abilities Pertinent to This Position

• Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
• Ability to work independently or within a team dynamic involving multiple departments.
• Ability to use forklift.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.68 - $24.03 an hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Location & Work Environment

This position is based at our headquarters in Camarillo, California, located in Ventura County between the greater Los Angeles and Santa Barbara areas. This role is expected to work on-site to support the management of in-house warehouse and supply chain operations.

The role may occasionally be required to perform some tasks in the following environments: cleanroom, near moving mechanical parts, fumes, machine lubricants, airborne particles, vibration, and risk of electrical shock, high noise while in the manufacturing plant; Personal protective equipment (vision and hearing) used in plant.

Additional Position Requirements

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to effectively communicate with employees and/or vendors; manual dexterity required for standing, reaching, and lifting of small objects. Must be able to lift various weights (up to 20 to 40 lbs) as needed to meet job requirements.
• Work Schedule: The Warehouse Associate is a full-time position that typically requires 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed to support production demands.
