Are you looking for a Warehouse Associate position with a consistent evening schedule? Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable individuals to join a growing warehouse and apparel production operation in Overland Park, Kansas. This Warehouse Associate role offers the opportunity to work in multiple departments, helping ensure customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Duties are performed within warehouse, inventory, shipping, and apparel decorating functions.
Requirements for the Warehouse Associate- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Warehouse, order picking, shipping, or apparel production experience preferred
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train across departments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and use stairs throughout the shift
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work in varying seasonal temperatures
- Must follow workplace safety procedures and guidelines
- Criminal background check required
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities- Receive, organize, replenish, and track inventory
- Complete inventory counts and maintain accurate records
- Pick and prepare customer orders using scanners, work orders, and warehouse systems
- Verify products, quantities, and order specifications
- Support embroidery and heat seal production processes
- Prepare materials and garments for decorating operations
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and proper artwork placement
- Finish, fold, pack, label, and stage customer orders
- Prepare shipments and process shipping documentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
