Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our client's team in Greensboro. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule, competitive pay, and the potential to become a permanent member of the team.

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $19-20/hr.
• Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Contract-to-Hire
• Potential for additional hours as needed

Main Job Duties:

• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment using forklifts and motorized pallet jacks.
• Use RF scanners and pick tickets to accurately locate and pull inventory.
• Stage completed pallets and materials for shipment.
• Safely load and unload trailers while following proper material-handling procedures.
• Receive incoming materials, inspect products, and verify quantities and quality.
• Replenish warehouse inventory and maintain organized storage locations.
• Perform regular cycle counts with an emphasis on high-volume inventory.
• Enter and process material transactions accurately using the warehouse computer system.
• Follow electronic work instructions, RF scanner directions, pick slips, and established operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse while consistently following company policies and safety procedures.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3 years of recent forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Experience operating a motorized pallet jack is preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, order picking, or material-handling experience.
• Strong attendance and a dependable work history.
• Comfortable using RF scanners and computerized inventory systems.
• Working knowledge of WMS and/or Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Previous inventory or cycle-counting experience is preferred.
• Ability to accurately follow written and electronic instructions.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work additional hours when business needs require it.
