Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift

Pay: $21.00-21.50/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to support daily operations within a fast-paced distribution center. This position performs a variety of warehouse functions based on operational needs, including order picking, packing, shipping and receiving, loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Daily assignments may change based on business needs, so flexibility and the ability to work across multiple areas of the warehouse are important.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties across areas including small parcel, UPS, shipping and receiving, and dock operations.

• Accurately pick and put away materials using appropriate material handling equipment.

• Load and prepare materials to help ensure damage-free shipments and meet customer-specific requirements.

• Stage materials and prepare documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.

• Process UPS inbound shipments and returned goods.

• Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and other material handling equipment as required.

• Read and follow routing sheets, work instructions, and other warehouse documentation.

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Participate in team and safety meetings.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment using 5S methodology.

• Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 2 years of warehouse experience required.

• Cherry picker and reach forklift experience required.

• Must be at least 18 years old by the position start date.

• Ability to work a minimum of eight hours in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 10 50 lbs.

• Ability to perform repetitive bending, twisting, walking, and material handling tasks.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Must be flexible and able to adjust to changing operational priorities and demands, including overtime when required.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow basic written and verbal instructions.

• Current warehouse equipment certification is a plus.

• Working knowledge of Blue Yonder is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent is desired
