About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support efficient warehouse operations in Elwood, Illinois. The primary focus of this role is to assist with order picking, packing, loading, unloading, and labeling to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. This position involves physical tasks within a warehouse environment, requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform order picking and packing to prepare products for shipment
• Load and unload materials and inventory using warehouse equipment
• Accurately label packages and products according to shipping specifications
• Conduct general labor tasks throughout warehouse operations to maintain flow
• Follow safety protocols when handling items up to 40 lbs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Operate warehouse equipment as required
• Support inventory control and stock replenishment activities
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
• Follow detailed instructions for labeling, packing, and handling orders

Required Qualifications

• Experience in pick/pack, order picking/packaging, load/unload, or general labor roles
• Ability to handle materials weighing up to 40 lbs
• Availability to work during 1st shift hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Basic physical fitness and stamina for warehouse activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse labeling processes
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures

Tools and Systems

• Warehouse equipment for lifting and moving inventory
• Labeling tools and supplies
• General warehouse tools for loading and unloading

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Physical activity involving lifting up to 40 lbs
• Standing for extended periods during shift
• Handling warehouse materials and equipment
