Warehouse Associate

Blue Truck is a white glove furniture delivery provider that delivers nationally. Our warehouse team is a fun, fast-paced environment with good colleagues. We run a small warehouse and are a tight-knit team so you'll have the opportunity to wear a variety of hats from order picking, staging product, logging in items as they are received, and even doing pickups at retailer locations.

Schedule is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday.  You must be flexible to move between schedules.  Forklift experience is desired and will receive higher pay.

What you’ll be doing

As a warehouse associate you're responsible for receiving, organizing and logging, and picking orders:

• We deliver couches, beds, desks, and other large bulky items. Safely unload items from inbound trucks, organize and store within the warehouse.
• Log items into inventory.
• Pull and stage items for outbound routes.
• Sweep and clean the warehouse.
• Operate a pallet jack, dollies, and hand trucks.
• Look up inbound orders and mark as received in our admin system
• Barcode scan outbound routes and ensure the right items are loaded onto the truck.
• As necessary, you may be ask to go on deliveries as a delivery helper.
• You should have a reasonable mechanical aptitude, an ability to follow assembly instructions, and experience with basic hand tools like screw drivers and cordless drills.

What we’re looking for

• Motivated, independent self starter - we expect a high level of autonomy and don't want to be peering over your shoulder making sure you're getting the job done.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs solo, and up to 300lbs as part of a team.
• Operate a pallet jack, dollies, and hand trucks.
• Do math a calculator, use an inventory mobile app on your phone, look up items on a computer.
