Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate who will be primarily responsible for packaging, labeling, and preparing customer orders for parcel shipment. This position supports daily warehouse operations by inspecting products, packaging materials safely and accurately, processing parcel shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is an on-site hourly position at our RectorSeal facility in Earth City, MO. Part-time schedule of 15-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package customer orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
• Prepare parcel shipments by labeling, scanning, weighing, and verifying shipment information.
• Inspect products and packaging materials for damage, accuracy, and quality concerns prior to shipment.
• Assemble cartons and packaging materials to protect products during transit.
• Apply shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation accurately.
• Operate parcel shipping systems, scanners, scales, and related equipment.
• Wrap pallets and prepare freight shipments as needed.
• Load and unload parcels, cartons, and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain packaging supplies and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and quality standards.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support shipping, packaging, and general warehouse operations as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1-3 years of recent experience picking and fulfilling orders.

• Familiarity with using shipping scanners.

• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English.

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Skills/Competencies:

• Proven work experience in warehouse setting
• Able to work independently and safely

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
