Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and field logistics activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are accurately received, processed, loaded, and delivered while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working both in the warehouse and assisting with transportation and delivery operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery.
- Load, unload, and organize materials using proper handling procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with product movement, stocking, and replenishment activities.
- Support route preparation by staging materials and verifying delivery paperwork.
- Accompany delivery personnel on local routes as needed to assist with loading, unloading, and customer deliveries.
- Help secure products during transport and ensure items arrive safely and in good condition.
- Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Operate warehouse equipment and tools in accordance with company policies (training provided as applicable).
- Perform general warehouse, logistics, and operational support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, material handling, or delivery support experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable attendance and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
- Warehouse and logistics environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials.
- Occasional travel on local delivery routes to support transportation operations and customer service needs.
