Position Overview

Lincoln Industrial is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team in Santa Maria, CA. This position is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team, and comfortable operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced setting.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unload, inspect, label, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pull, stage, and prepare orders for shipment and delivery.
• Package products accurately and securely to prevent damage during transport.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks while following established safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
• Perform routine housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Assist with other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, logistics, or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math and computer skills.

Preferred

• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience.
• Experience with inventory management systems and handheld scanners.
• Shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in indoor and outdoor warehouse environments.
• Perform repetitive movements throughout the workday.
