Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.


Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily warehouse operations and assigned tasks.
• Receive, move, organize, and store products in designated locations.
• Assist with picking, packing, shipping, and inventory activities as assigned.
• Verify products and quantities when handling warehouse materials.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
• Follow proper lifting and material-handling procedures.
• Assist coworkers when needed to maintain workflow.
• Report damaged products, shortages, unsafe conditions, or equipment problems to management.
• Operate warehouse equipment only when authorized.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred but not required.
• Physical ability to handle products and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
