Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate supports Best Buy's daily warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. This role involves handling products safely, processing inventory accurately, and maintaining an organized work area. Warehouse Associates follow company safety and operational procedures while working with team members to help ensure merchandise is handled and processed efficiently.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, New York.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and unload merchandise from deliveries safely and accurately.
• Inspect and verify shipments by checking quantities, product numbers, and condition.
• Pack, label, and stage merchandise for shipment or customer pickup.
• Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Use scanners and inventory systems to track merchandise and update inventory records.
• Load and move merchandise safely, following proper lifting and handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse while working effectively with the team.

Requirements:

• At least 6 months of experience in a retail, warehouse, logistics, or operations environment is required.
• Strong attention to detail when handling merchandise and processing inventory.
• Ability to perform essential physical duties, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Awareness of workplace safety procedures and safe merchandise handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: USD $17.50 - USD $23.63 /Hr.
