Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - Finish

Capstone Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Auditor - Inbound Quality to support receiving operations by inspecting incoming shipments, identifying quality and compliance issues, and ensuring inbound freight meets established standards.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy investigative work, problem solving, and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Warehouse Auditor plays a critical role in protecting inventory integrity and helping ensure operational excellence from the moment product arrives at the facility.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments and evaluate load quality upon arrival
• Audit inbound freight for compliance with vendor, packaging, and operational standards
• Identify, document, and report load defects, damages, and compliance violations
• Investigate and document root causes using company tablets and reporting systems
• Capture detailed photographs of load conditions and quality issues from multiple angles
• Verify and validate information before submitting audit reports
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions
• Communicate quality concerns clearly and professionally to operations leadership
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring vendor or shipment issues
• Follow all company safety standards, policies, and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, quality assurance, auditing, or logistics preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and process deviations
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile technology, and electronic reporting systems
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make objective decisions based on established guidelines
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and commitment to quality standards

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking throughout warehouse and receiving areas
• Ability to stand for extended periods during inspections
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing as needed to inspect freight
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
