Warehouse Case Selector

Pay

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
• Upon successful completion of training, compensation transitions to component pay based on productivity and performance.

Schedule

• Sunday through Friday: 10:00 AM until completion 8pm-10pm
• Saturday: Off
• One additional day off during the week
• Typical work hours extend until 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Average work week: 50 hours

Select and handle large cases of frozen food products to fulfill customer orders. Operate pallet jack equipment to accurately assemble and transport orders while maintaining compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures. Deliver products to designated locations efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift inspections of pallet jack equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Accurately select and pick products according to customer orders, verifying lot numbers and product codes.
• Label and mark materials with identifying information to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Open boxes and containers as needed during the order fulfillment process.
• Record inventory movements and material quantities using site-specific equipment and warehouse management systems.
• Organize and arrange products in designated order to support efficient assembly and shipment processes.
• Identify and report damaged products or inventory discrepancies to supervisors or inventory control personnel.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively; voice-directed picking systems may require English voice commands.
• Comfortable working in cold storage environments with temperatures as low as -20°F (-25°C) or dry storage environments up to 100°F (37°C) while wearing required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying noise levels.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
