A Monday–Friday job that actually means it.Tired of commuting to Columbia or Jeff City? Tired of warehouse jobs with rotating shifts, mandatory overtime, and every-weekend schedules? Baumgartner's is hiring, and we run Monday through Friday with daytime hours. The exception? Maybe 3–4 Saturdays a year, when it's all hands on deck. That's it — and we'll be straight with you about it, because that's how we do business. What your day actually looks like:You won't be standing at a conveyor belt. Back at the warehouse, you'll unpack, prep, load, and inspect merchandise so every delivery goes out right.Responsibilities:* Deliver furniture and mattresses to customer homes on routes across mid-Missouri* Load, unload, unpack, prepare, and inspect merchandise* Operate a delivery vehicle (we'll help you get your Missouri Class E license if you don't have one)* Resolve delivery issues and take care of customer concerns on the spot* Regularly lift 50+ lbs and team-lift heavier pieces with your partner
What we're looking for:
* A valid driver's license * A strong sense of customer service — you're the face of our company in someone's home * Problem-solving and communication skills * Reliability. Our customers are counting on you, and so are your crew members. Why Baumgartner's:* Monday–Friday daytime schedule — no nights, no rotating shifts, and just 3–4 Saturdays per year (we'll give you plenty of notice)* $18–$23.50 per hour + bonuses* Health & dental insurance available* Paid time off* Paid lunch breaks* Employee discount on furniture and mattresses* Family-owned local business since 1949 — you're a name here, not a number* We promote from within — cross-training available into warehouse lead, service, and sales roles* Work minutes from home instead of an hour away
