About the Role:

Support bakery production operations by assisting in packaging, labeling, inspecting, and preparing bread products for distribution within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves maintaining product quality, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and supporting general warehouse and sanitation duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package bread and bakery products according to company standards
• Inspect products for quality, freshness, and proper appearance prior to packaging
• Label and date packaged products accurately
• Stack, organize, and prepare finished goods for storage and shipment
• Load and unload deliveries as needed
• Maintain inventory by stocking packaging materials and supplies
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Keep workstations, equipment, and warehouse areas clean and organized
• Assist with order picking and preparation for customer deliveries
• Report damaged products, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Support other warehouse and production tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse, packaging, food production, or bakery settings
• Experience with food handling and packaging procedures
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations
• Forklift certification (if applicable)
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Fast-paced bakery and warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, including warm production areas and cooler storage spaces
• Frequent standing, lifting, carrying, and repetitive movements
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
