Warehouse Associate

San Leandro, California

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays; shift start as early as 5:00 AM; must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team in San Leandro. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling, packaging, and staging orders for pickup and shipping within a temperature-controlled environment. Your work will support efficient order fulfillment and inventory management, helping ensure timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, package, and stage orders accurately and efficiently for pickup and shipping in a temperature-controlled environment around 40°F
• Receive goods into the ERP system with accuracy and efficiency, completing all shipping and receiving documentation promptly
• Perform cycle counts and inventory management following FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) processes
• Fill and stage packaging materials and ingredients for production lines (pre-staging)
• Move, lift, and carry items weighing over 50 pounds regularly, adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse environment
• Assist with inventory organization and management
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving targets
• Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety procedures throughout all tasks
• Adapt to flexible working hours, including early shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Required Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds consistently
• Prior experience working in a warehouse or food manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of GMP and shipping/receiving procedures
• Ability to perform accurate arithmetic calculations quickly and efficiently
• Flexibility to work early shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM, including weekends and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food manufacturing

• ERP system for receiving goods
• General warehouse tools and packaging equipment

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment around 40°F
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks
