What you will do
- Monitor stock levels to keep availability on target and minimize shortages.
- Perform frequent cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Partner in developing and implementing inventory control procedures that prevent errors.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, and other teams to forecast needs and manage replenishment.
- Detect, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in records and on the floor.
- Support shipping and receiving by verifying all incoming and outgoing orders against documentation.
- Maintain a tidy, organized storage environment that supports fast, error-free work.
What you need to succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in logistics or similar preferred.
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related role.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational discipline.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently while being a dependable team contributor.
- Resourceful problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort lifting and moving heavy items as needed.
