Job Description
Working under general supervision, perform a variety of tasks; receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials; operate lift equipment; fill requisitions and orders; pack, crate, and ship materials as needed; and keeping a clean and safe work environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all tasks related to the receiving, issuing, and shipping of parts and materials.
- Perform various material handling duties at site.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Remove strapping and open crates and containers.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area while following 5S Standards.
- Operate forklift routinely.
- Punctuality and regular attendance is required.
- Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management.
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, safety, confidentiality, and environmental policies.
- Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the state.
- Work safely in all areas; identify potential safety hazards and work with management to correct them.
- Work without significant risk of harm to self and others.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse or inventory control experience preferred; experience with heavy equipment with material handling and distribution preferred.
- Basic knowledge of JDE or similar ERP system is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of shipping in addition to warehouse procedures and regulations preferred.
- Previous knowledge of mining equipment and parts preferred.

- Ability to analyze situations, make logical decisions, and choose best course of action.

- Flexible availability for various shifts including shift work, overnights, over-time, holidays, and weekends.

This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor
