Job Description

About the Opportunity
Warehouse lead with a growing warehouse and distribution company. They’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Lead who knows how to keep a team moving, hit daily targets, and set the example on the floor.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate a team of warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing and shipping
  • Assign daily tasks and adjust staffing as volume changes to keep orders moving on time
  • Train new associates on processes, equipment and safety standards
  • Monitor productivity and accuracy and coach team members to meet goals
  • Make sure inbound and outbound shipments are processed accurately and on schedule
  • Support inventory control through cycle counts, discrepancy research and location accuracy
  • Enforce safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Use the WMS and RF scanners to track orders, inventory and productivity
  • Communicate issues, shortages and performance updates to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager
  • Jump in on the floor and operate equipment when needed
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of warehouse, distribution or fulfillment experience
  • 1+ year in a lead, trainer or supervisory role
  • Experience with a WMS and RF scanners
  • Forklift, reach truck or pallet jack experience (certification a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
  • Comfortable with basic computer tools (email, Excel)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for an entire shift
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime during peak periods
Nice to Have
  • 3PL or ecommerce fulfillment background
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience with KPIs like units per hour, order accuracy and on-time shipping
