Schedule:Tuesday – Saturday7:00 AM – 6:15 PMJob Term: TempPosition Summary:The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, and team leadership. This role ensures efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company safety standards while supporting warehouse staff and daily operations.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse OperationsReceive, unload, inspect, and check in daily deliveriesVerify and sign off on incoming shipmentsReceive, inspect, and process products from the overstock warehouseShip products to the overstock warehouse as neededProcess customer orders at shipping docksUtilize stock transfer and purchase order processes to receive goods accuratelyOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and perform manual unloading when requiredInventory ManagementMonitor inventory through cycle counts, physical inventories, and system updatesSupervise stock checks to maintain inventory accuracyEnsure products are properly received, stored, and put awayFollow up with employees regarding daily inventory activitiesEnsure backordered products are assembled and prepared for customer deliveryCoordinate receiving, put-away, and inventory movement activitiesTeam LeadershipAssign special orders and put-away tasks to warehouse associatesGuide employees on customer order issues, including short shipments and backordersPrepare status reports on customer ordersSupervise daily warehouse activities to ensure productivity and accuracyPromote teamwork and maintain a positive work environmentEquipment & SafetyEnsure daily inspections, cleaning, battery maintenance, and preventive maintenance of order pickersVerify employees follow all forklift, order picker, and warehouse safety proceduresEnforce OSHA regulations and company safety policiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environmentJob Requirements:Minimum 2 years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience in a distribution or logistics environmentStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logisticsExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), AS400, and ERP systemsMechanical knowledge of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, preferredDemonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations and warehouse best practicesExperience with e-commerce fulfillment centers or 3PL operations is a plusFamiliarity with heavy lifting techniques and continuous process improvementExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and lead by example
