WAREHOUSE LEADPERSON

WORKING LEAD PERSON very physical- moving product manually or with pallet jacks or high reach forklifts as needed. Will assist 3rd shift Manager w/ team leader duties 

Warehouse LEAD- Assist the manager with oversight of the staff.....Has general responsibility for coordinating all warehouse activities on a daily basis. Assists manager in overseeing the receiving, storage and shipping of product.
 
In addition to Lead responsibilities: 
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment. 
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. 
• Pull and prepare product for shipment,
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers or containers. 
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. 
• Label, sort, wrap, pack, un-pack & re-pack 
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Open and close building in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
