As a Warehouse Manager, you'll lead daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure smooth inventory management and shipping processes. You'll work closely with the operations team to meet goals that drive efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Do
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining an active presence on the warehouse floor, directing daily activities, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring team accountability.
- Overseeing inbound shipments, verifying product quantities, and ensuring accurate receiving and recording of inventory.
- Managing picking, packing, and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy, speed, and timely delivery.
- Leading regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and initiating corrective measures to uphold inventory accuracy.
- Coordinating outbound shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring products are shipped correctly and on schedule.
- Utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms and RF handheld scanners to enhance operational efficiency and track inventory.
- Supervising, coaching, and training warehouse staff, while holding teams accountable for productivity, accuracy, attendance, and quality standards.
- Establishing procedures to minimize picking errors, shipping discrepancies, and inventory shrinkage.
- Monitoring KPIs, productivity, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Developing new workflows, optimizing space utilization, and increasing overall warehouse efficiency.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience in a wholesale or retail warehouse setting.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills (required).
- Strong hands-on experience managing receiving, picking, cycle counts, shipping, and inventory control.
- Solid knowledge of WMS and RF handheld scanning technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
- Leadership skills to motivate and hold teams accountable for high performance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work directly on the warehouse floor and actively participate in daily operations.
