Warehouse Manager - Wilmington, NC

Job Purpose & Summary:As Warehouse Manager, you'll protect the flow of product and service that keeps customers supplied-by running warehouse operations with discipline, accuracy, and compliance. This role exists to improve profitability and customer satisfaction through safe, secure, efficient, cost-effective execution. Must be a team player, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude. Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:Overseeing warehouse operations to exceed expectations for productivity, daily workflow and accuracyEnsure that merchandise is received and stored in an efficient and economical manner and maintain required records in conformance with company policySupervising and scheduling warehouse and delivery staffSupervising and scheduling maintenance for company delivery vehicles to meet company policy and OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulationsHave a working knowledge of plumbing/heating products and industryBe skilled in computer use (ability to master Eclipse software)Be an excellent communicatorHandle all duties honestly, follow high ethical standards and present a professional image at all times Necessary qualifications/skills: Experience overseeing warehouse operations and coordinating teamsAbility to supervise and schedule warehouse and delivery staffAbility to supervise and schedule maintenance of company delivery vehiclesPlumbing and Heating experience a plusCommunication, time management and organizational skillsEducation/ExperienceMinimum of 3 years' driving experienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Working knowledge of Eclipse software preferred
