Warehouse Operations Manager
The Warehouse Operations Manager provides leadership for all warehouse, inventory management, and internal material flow operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is accountable for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of materials that supports production schedules, customer commitments, and overall plant performance. Leading a team of 30+ employees, the successful candidate will drive operational excellence through inventory accuracy, workforce optimization, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience managing warehouse, materials, inventory, and internal logistics operations within a manufacturing, industrial, or capital equipment environment.
- Proven success leading and developing teams of 25+ employees in a high-volume, deadline-driven manufacturing operation.
- Demonstrated expertise in receiving, inventory control, production material flow, line-side delivery, kitting, shipping, and warehouse optimization.
- Strong track record of improving inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, workforce productivity, and service performance.
- Experience utilizing ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) to manage inventory integrity and material flow.
- Effective communicator and cross-functional leader with the ability to influence stakeholders across operations, production, supply chain, and leadership teams.
- Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred, with a proven ability to drive measurable operational results.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, employee development, and operational excellence in a manufacturing environment.
