Warehouse Operator

Key Responsibilities

1. Inbound Goods Receipt

• Executes warehouse processes related to inbound goods receipt, focusing on the highest level of quality and patient safety.
• Ensures full compliance with operational obligations, including customs/import processes, quality inspections, and environmental controls on products.
• Updates the appropriate transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP tool.
• Supports inbound logistics operations by coordinating with carriers for efficient dock scheduling and conducting thorough inspections of incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies.

2. Storage and Inventory Management

• Executes warehouse storage processes, including stock counts, stock verification, stock movements, stock corrections, and value-added operations on inventory.
• Maintains the highest levels of quality and patient safety while ensuring compliance with bonded storage requirements, special storage areas, environmental controls on products, and financial controls applicable to the entity.
• Updates inventory records accordingly in the WMS or ERP tool.

3. Outbound Operations

• Executes warehouse processes related to outbound picking, packing, labeling, and shipping.
• Ensures the highest levels of quality and patient safety while complying with customs/export processes, quality inspections, environmental controls on products, and specific customer requirements.
• Updates the appropriate transactions in the WMS or ERP tool.
• Aids in implementing quality control measures by conducting random spot-checks of outbound orders for accuracy and completeness and documenting non-conformities for corrective action.

4. Systems and Data Management

• Executes daily checks of interfaces between SAP, Transport Management System (TMID), and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  Documents equipment maintenance activities and inventory transactions in the WMS, maintaining meticulous records for compliance audits and performance analysis.
  Assists in the installation, configuration, and testing of new warehouse management software and automation systems, providing input on system setup and troubleshooting initial configuration issues.

5. Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Works with maintenance technicians to perform scheduled calibration and preventive maintenance tasks on warehouse machinery and equipment, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshoots equipment failures and performs minor repairs on conveyors, palletizers, and forklifts, following standardized procedures and promptly escalating complex issues to maintenance specialists.

6. Continuous Improvement and Warehouse Operations

• Interacts with teams to optimize warehouse layout and workflow, leveraging data-driven insights to implement continuous improvement initiatives such as lean methodologies or automation upgrades.
• Assists in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse facility, including regular sweeping and organizing storage racks, to uphold a visually appealing and efficient work environment.
