Warehouse Specialist

Location: Kent, WA

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (typically 7:00 AM-3:30 PM)

Pay Range: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on warehouse professional who enjoys taking ownership of their work and keeping operations running smoothly. This position plays a key role in overseeing inventory, coordinating shipments, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting field operations. The right person will be comfortable working independently, solving problems as they arise, and adapting to changing priorities.

Because this role supports essential operational services, occasional overtime or schedule adjustments may be required during severe weather events or other urgent situations.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and equipment.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate the movement of materials between departments and job sites.
• Use inventory and business software to track products, orders, and warehouse activity.
• Create and maintain inventory reports using Excel.
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
• Safely operate company vehicles when transporting materials or equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and warehouse efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members, management, and operational staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, inventory, or materials management role.
• Experience leading warehouse operations or working with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license with a strong driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or inventory issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift, move, and organize warehouse materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting utility, telecommunications, construction, transportation, or other operational environments.
• Military logistics, supply chain, or inventory management experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP/inventory systems.
