If you like staying active, keeping things organized, and finding smarter ways to get work done, this could be a great fit. As a Warehouse Specialist, you'll help keep a 10,000 sq ft, climate-controlled warehouse running smoothly and make sure the right parts get where they need to go accurately and on time.
We're looking for someone who brings positive energy, pays attention to the details, and doesn't get discouraged when a process or system isn't as simple as it should but instead makes suggestions to help improve and move forward.
What you'll be doing:
Help manage the day-to-day operation, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse
Receive incoming products and accurately put inventory in the appropriate warehouse locations
Pick, pack, and ship parts for domestic and international orders
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
Use a laptop, handheld barcode scanner, and shipping software to process inventory and shipments
Review purchase requests, return orders, work orders, and shipping information to make sure the correct products are located, picked, packed, and shipped.
Enter inventory transactions accurately, including receipts, shipments, transfers, and inventory adjustments
Help maintain accurate inventory records through weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventories
Create shipping documentation, including commercial invoices when needed
Partner with purchasing and field engineers to resolve order, inventory, and shipment deadlines.
Look for opportunities to improve warehouse processes, eliminate unnecessary steps, and make work more efficient
What we're looking for:
Experience working in a warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory, fulfillment, or similar hands-on environment
Comfortable using a laptop throughout the workday. You should be able to use email, search for information, enter data, and keep digital information organized
Willingness and ability to learn new inventory, warehouse, and shipping systems. We'll train you on specific tools.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting orders and inventory transactions right
Ability to prioritize work based on customer needs and shipping schedules
Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs as part of regular warehouse responsibilities
Bonus Points:
Previous experience with:
warehouse or inventory management systems
using third-party shipping software
barcode scanners or other handheld warehouse devices
processing domestic and/or international shipments
completing cycle counts or physical inventory
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Compensation:
