Warehouse Supervisor - 12:00pm Start Time

We are currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to work in our Plymouth, MN location. The schedule for this position is approximately 12:00pm to 9:00pm (out time can vary), Monday through Friday. This position is best suited for an individual with extensive communication skills, ability to delegate tasks successfully, and experience being a positive role-model and leader.

WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO?

Our Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for leading our 2nd shift (12:00pm start) shipping team.   This position is extremely hands on and requires the performance of manual work in addition to directing team members towards daily shipping goals.  

Job responsibilities for this role include:

• Delegate warehouse work operations in accordance with shipments, store orders, and stock rotation requirements for second shift operation.
• Provide second shift leadership for warehouse personnel.
• Train and lead work teams to achieve optimal picking performance.
• Involved in the hiring process for new employees and recommend performance goals for existing employees.
• Cultivate a positive, innovative, and safe work environment.
• Responsible for all closing duties.
• Select and count materials in accordance to the shipping slip then stage orders selected.
• Pick will-call / Auer truck orders by loading materials into vehicles and/or trucks.
• Place returned items to stock locations.
• Keep warehouse and outside areas clean and organized (includes sweeping, painting, shoveling, etc.)

WHAT IS REQUIRED?

This position is best suited for an individual with:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have at least three months of past lead or supervisory experience.
• Must be willing to work a second shift schedule of approximately 12:00pm to close.
