Location: Chelsea, MA
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Day Shift – 6:30 AM or 7:00 AM start time until completion (typically 4:30 PM), Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.
Position Overview
Wicked Staffing Solutions is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor for a growing client in Chelsea, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding organization and become a key member of a fast-paced warehouse and production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, warehouse supervisory experience, and the ability to work effectively in a cold, wet environment while supporting daily operations alongside the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead warehouse personnel to ensure daily operational goals are met.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse activities.
- Monitor employee productivity, attendance, safety, and performance.
- Train, coach, and develop warehouse staff.
- Operate a stand-up forklift as needed and maintain safe equipment operation standards.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track inventory and warehouse activity.
- Maintain accurate records using email, Excel, and other computer-based systems.
- Work closely with production and management teams to ensure efficient workflow and product movement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and food safety requirements when applicable.
- Assist with hands-on warehouse duties as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Previous Warehouse Supervisor experience required.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
- Food manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Experience operating a stand-up forklift required.
- Strong computer skills, including:
- Email communication
- Microsoft Excel
- Online inventory management systems
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in refrigerated, cold, and wet conditions.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a stand-up forklift.
