Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming materials and shipments.
- Unload deliveries, verify contents against shipping documents, and report discrepancies.
- Organize, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, stage, and distribute materials to production and other departments.
- Maintain and update inventory records using warehouse management tools and scanners.
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct packaging and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and carts safely.
- Uphold cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Identify and escalate damaged goods, inventory errors, or safety concerns.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and production teams for material availability.
- Perform additional warehouse and material-handling tasks as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience.
- Proficiency with inventory tracking, data entry, and basic computer use.
- Ability to interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory records.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Effective communication and time-management skills.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift safely per guidelines.
- US Citizenship required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing warehouse settings.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Skilled in barcode scanners and computerized inventory tools.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, picking, and packing procedures.
- Trained to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of material traceability and inventory accuracy.
