Warehouse Technician
Location: Providence County, RI
Pay: $20/hr + shift differential + benefits
Work directly for a Providence County, RI area specialty manufacturing company in a hands-on manufacturing and warehouse role. Join a team responsible for packaging, assembly, material handling, and maintaining efficient production operations.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain packaging and assembly equipment, ensuring machines are supplied with materials and production interruptions are minimized.
* Perform material handling tasks, including moving pallets, handling scrap materials, labeling finished goods, and preparing products for shipment.
* Conduct equipment troubleshooting, authorized changeovers, preventative maintenance, and downtime reporting to support production efficiency.
* Perform quality inspections, maintain production records, follow safety procedures, and complete facility housekeeping and 5S activities.
Required Skills & Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
* Mechanical experience or background with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform basic maintenance.
* Ability to perform material handling, follow production procedures, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Experience operating packaging, assembly, or injection molding equipment.
* Familiarity with preventative maintenance, quality inspections, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
