Warehouse Worker / Back-Up Class A Driver Swedesboro

Job Description

Champion Container Corp is a growing distribution company of industrial packaging supplies (drums, pails, and bottles)in Swedesboro, NJ. We are currently seeking a full-time warehouse associate/back-up driver.

Candidates must have a Class A CDL, a safe driving record, at least two years of driving experience, and forklift experience. A copy of your driver’s abstract will be required if you are selected for an interview.

Daytime shift (7:00am – 3:30pm) Monday through Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loads and unloads product from the vehicle and verifies contents against shipping invoices or inventories.  
• Ensures safe and on-time delivery of products to customers using company vehicles and following all company procedures and standards
• Receives deliveries and stock and verifies accuracy of the delivery against invoice
• Ensures that the required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and ensures proper working conditions
• Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL w/Hazmat endorsement
• Safe driving record
• At least two years of driving experience
• Forklift experience
• Highly reliable and dependable
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
