Job Title: Warehouse Picker (1st Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking a committed Warehouse Picker for the 1st shift to join our dynamic team. Your role will involve sorting boxes and arranging them on the correct pick pallet for forklift operators, as well as picking and packing products of various sizes. You will utilize an RF scanner and be responsible for loading and unloading semi-trailers with completed pallets. This is a contract-to-hire position with a duration of 90 days, and you will be working on-site in Davenport, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Sort boxes and arrange them on pick pallets for forklift operators.
• Pick and pack products ranging from handheld boxes to thousand-pound machine parts using a lift.
• Utilize an RF scanner for inventory management.
• Load and unload semi-trailers with completed pallets.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Skills

• Experience in picking and packing products.
• Proficiency in using RF scanners.
• Ability to operate lifting equipment.
• High attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3-6 months of warehouse experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
