General Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Worker with forklift experience to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, storing, moving, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical tasks, operating warehouse equipment, and working as part of a team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, products, and shipments safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move and store products.
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas as needed.
• Verify quantities and inspect products for damage or discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
• Follow shipping, receiving, and material-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Valid forklift certification preferred; must meet company requirements for equipment operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Basic computer skills and inventory documentation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with shipping and receiving.
• Experience with inventory control and order picking.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
• Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

• Warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
• Must follow all workplace safety requirements and proper material-handling procedures.
