Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour | Full-Time

AHI Supply is opening a new location in Leander, TX, and we're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to join our team.

This is a hands-on position supporting daily warehouse and yard operations. You'll operate a forklift, load and unload materials, prepare customer and delivery orders, assist with customer pickups, and help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient operation.

Previous forklift experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and inbound shipments.
• Move, stack, stage, and organize construction materials.
• Pick, stage, band, and prepare customer and delivery orders.
• Assist customers with pickups and will-call orders.
• Verify products and quantities against order tickets and shipping paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard.
• Complete required daily forklift inspections.
• Immediately report damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or other safety concerns.
• Support warehouse, yard, and delivery operations based on daily business needs.
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Warehouse, lumber, steel, building materials, or construction industry experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift in warehouse and outdoor yard environments.
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, move, and handle construction materials weighing approximately 40 to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse work throughout the workday.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and operational needs.
• Safety-minded and willing to follow established procedures.

Schedule

Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., or until all work is completed
Saturday: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., as needed
